Post-Pandemic Update

As we continue to move forward from the pandemic, some of our direct services and activities are now fully in-person. We understand, however, that not everyone is ready for in-person services. Therefore, we continue to offer some services in a multi-access format. This allows community members to participate in our programs either virtually or in person, according to their individual comfort levels.

Our main building in Chinatown and our satellite office in the Richmond District are both open Monday through Friday.

Housing
Gum Moon provides single and double occupancy rooms, and can house up to 30 women. The rooms are furnished with beds, dressers, desks, bookcases, chairs, and bedding. There is a communal kitchen, with refrigerators and dining area, and laundry facilities.
Our rooms are available on a first come, first served basis. Reservations are not available. For information regarding availability, please call 415-421-8827
Infant Playgroup
A program for new parents that focuses on areas of child development including cognitive, social/emotional, and fine/gross motor skills.
Target age group: 0-1 years old
Schedule: Tues & Thurs, 10:00 AM-12:00 PM
Duration: August 2023 - July 2024
Toddler Playgroup
A program designed to promote fine/gross motor skills, cognition, socialization, and literacy in children through constructive play and music.
Target age group: 1-2 years old
Schedule: Mon & Wed, 10:00 AM-12:00 PM

Parent-Child Interactive Groups - 親子互動組
A program designed for both parents and children to promote school readiness, social-emotional learning, and healthy family relationships.

Discoverer Playgroup:
Target age group: 2 -3 years old
Schedule: Mon / Tues / Wed / Thurs, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Explorer Playgroup:
Target age group: 3+ years old
Schedule: Mon / Tues / Wed/ Thurs, 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM
The Learning Place - 學習天地課後補習班
The Learning Place is an after-school tutoring program for 1st to 6th grade children. Parent Education workshops & support group also available.
Target age group: 6+ years old
Schedule: Mon / Tues / Wed / Thurs / Fri, 3-5:30pm
